Overall Satisfaction with Scale Computing HC3
We are using Scale to move past our VMware and iSCSI connections.
Pros
- Support is great
- Software industry standard
- Fast
Cons
- Network drivers crash often,
- Need backup API to Veeam, badly. Backup is like a step back in time, and no, snapshots are not backups.
- Positive so far on saving money
- Support costs are reasonable
- Initial sizing was way off so had to buy more before we expected to
Scale is less expensive and similar in nature. However, Scale has a ways to go to catch up to them.
