Overall Satisfaction with SeekOut
I use SeekOut for Strategic Sourcing purposes. SeekOut allows us to find diverse talent for those hard to fill roles.
Pros
- Boolean Searches / Keywords - you can have a full guide on how to exploit this feature. Searches can be very specific.
- Diversity tag - in case a minority is not being properly represented in pool of candidates, we can select a more diverse pool.
- Power Filters - be able to create your own - such as location wise, skills wise, or level wise.
- Groups and Certifications - we can select people who belong to certain groups. Particularly useful, when we need someone with connection in a specific field.
Cons
- Insights - it is very useful to see the Insights on each of our searched, but we can't download the whole information to be able to share it with our stakeholders.
- It has increased representation and diversity in hard to fill roles.
- It has presented candidates qualified for the roles that we couldn't have identified in LinkedIn, using Expert feature.
- It has provided candidate who actually have skills very hard to find, highlighting them in the profile, whether it is in any specific job or an article.
Linkedin Recruiter is very useful as well, but what I like the most about SeekOut compared with LinkedIn, is the Boolean Search feature.
Another feature that I like about SeekOut that Linkedin Recruiter does not have are the Power Filters, which save us a lot of time, when able to create our own.
