We use Semrush to run audits on the health of our and our clients' websites. This shows us how our sites rank for specific keyphrases, and areas where we can improve on site SEO. We also use it to generate keywords for paid advertising. These features alone pay for the subscription.

We use Yoast SEO from within WordPress sites to help with the effectiveness of individual pages and posts. It has great value due to being built-in to the website. Semrush provides us with a much more detailed analysis though to look at the overall health of the sites and has the ability to drill into individual statistics related to SEO rankings.
