Overall Satisfaction with ShareFile
My organization uses ShareFile to meet compliance goals for our Special Education Team! Working at a school in the Special Education Department, ShareFile makes it easy to share confidential materials for signatures or sharing with members within our school and with related service providers. We recently made a switch to all digital compliance filing and ShareFile has made the transition a breeze.
Pros
- Checkbox Feature
- Signature Feature
- Signature Certificates
Cons
- Only able to send 6 reminders per day - why not more?
- Downloads sometimes go to the wrong folder or I can't find them
- Logging in is sometimes difficult - why doesn't it remember my domain/username/password even after I press the "remember me" button?
- Increased compliance percentage school and network wide due to ease of use
- Increased communication between school members, network members, and related service providers.
- Increased security - confidential documents containing student information is kept safe!
In my role as a Special Education Case Manager, I was able to make individual folders for each student's documents so that I could stay organized and keep track of what information I had and what I was missing for each student on my caseload. This has been extremely helpful in the management aspect of my work.
Significantly positive! ShareFile ensured that I could send and receive signatures without having to track people down in person. People are always checking their emails and are significantly more responsive when given an e-signature request versus sending papers home with students. Overall, provides more reliablilty and consisitency with signatures and meeting deadlines.
I chose to stick with ShareFile because of the signature certificate feature that is included with the software. The two programs are both relativley easy for me to use, but Adobe Acrobat does not have this feature included. Additionally, ShareFile can be opened in Browser and is easy to use on a variety of devices, whereas Adobe Acrobat can only be used with an app, which can be annoying sometimes!
