Overall Satisfaction with Shift

Shift is literally what allows me to get my job done. I use it primarily to bring together all of my accounts and applications that I use on a daily basis. The two apps that I use in Shift the most are Slack and Asana. I am HIGH on efficiencies and it truly does not get any more efficient than Shift.

Pros

  • Bringing apps together under one application
  • Ability to have multiple email addresses in one app is amazing
  • Gotten much better with notifications
  • Consistent updates

Cons

  • The notifications have been wonky in the past and I've missed meetings because of it
  • I actually do not love the workspaces, but that may just be because of how I've used Shift for years.
  • It is hard on me when I am in my personal email, but need to go to Slack which only shows up when I'm in my work email. Just adds extra steps
  • Increased efficiencies
  • Increased productivity
  • GREATLY improved organization
I utilize two gmail accounts, Slack, Asana, and Todoist all with Shift. It is literally my one stop shop and what I work in all day, every day.
I love Shift but feel the impacts have been greater on me personally, vs. my organization
I think overall Shift is VERY user friendly. My only issue is I am not really a fan of the workspace feature. My main issue with this always comes when I am in my personal email, but need to go to Slack, and have to click into my work email workspace first.
I used Station previously but felt it didn't have as many features as Shift.
I have looked around a lot though because Shift is quite expensive..

I beleive Shift to be well suited for every employee. Truly, the way it brings together my email accounts, Asana for project management, Slack for communication, and even Todoist, I have relied on Shift for over 4 years.
