Overall Satisfaction with Shopify Plus

Shopify Plus allows us to set up multiple versions of our website but for different international markets. We can easily process orders in different currencies. We are able to create new price lists for different types of business customers and the system automatically applies the pricing and quantity discounts without the staff having to remember to do it which speeds up training.

Pros

  • Switch the currency based on the marketplace the customer is in.
  • Easy to set up B2B customers, multiple email logins.
  • Can create different price lists for different customers.

Cons

  • For international orders, would be good to see customs and tax estimates.
  • Print invoices in Shopify Plus
  • Search drafts by number
  • The abandoned checkout feature has allowed us to capture customers who would have gone away, resulting in more revenue.
  • Setting up and processing B2B orders is quick, allowing us to save time which on other platforms took longer and reduced productivity.
  • Setting up custom items and shipping is quicker on Shopify Plus than competitor product. Saves time and improves productivity.
Again, it is the ease of creating new customers, new items, new shipping rates, and processing these quickly. Once you have set up a new price list or B2B customer, orders can be easily processed and the staff do not need to remember who is and who is not a trade customer. A lot of time is saved.
Significant improvement. Magento did not have a B2B setting, so you needed to remember and alter the prices manually, and you could not create draft orders, so if you sent a customer a quote and they called up to pay, you then had to quickly create the order whilst the customer was waiting which was quite unprofessional as they were waiting 3 or 4 minutes.

Shopify Plus is great for companies which have different types of customers and therefore you need different price lists (catalogues). You can assign these to different businesses and the price automatically changes without staff members needing to memorise who gets which, streamlining everything immensely. You can also create many different shipping tariffs for different locations and weights so it is great if you ship to Europe or America.

Shopify Plus is perhaps not great if you only sell 1 item in a small market. There are a lot of features you are just not going to use.
