Overall Satisfaction with Skype

Skype was being used across the whole organization. It serves as the channel of internal communication between the employees.

Pros

  • Screen sharing options are available
  • Very user-friendly GUI.
  • Free-source and incredibly easy to install.

Cons

  • It offers little or no access to emergency services.
  • There is no language translation services.
  • Background noises are picked up rather easily.
  • Savings accrue when user adoption and corporate policies that mandate collaboration technologies result in a measurable reduction in travel and telephony costs.
  • Deploying Skype to employees show a measurable decrease in travel and PSTN voice usage.
Skype is very well suited for internal communication within the employees.
