Overall Satisfaction with Skype
We are moving to a distributed model of the organisation, with staff spread all over he world. Skype is a tool to communicate, via chat or by call for remote meetings. It can also be useful for face-to-face interaction, provided you have a webcam.
- Calls
- Face to face remote meetings
- Instant messages
- Multiple users conversations can sometimes be difficult
- Not sure about usage of bandwidth
- We sometimes have to use alternatives like zoom or arkadin or webex
- Good so far but I think we're moving away from it for large digital meetings
- It's still relevant as an instant message software
- Webex and Zoom
For large digital meetings, we are moving to zoom.
For interactive sessions, we normally use webex and for good quality connections in remote meetings we'll use Arkadin
