Overall Satisfaction with Skype

We utilize skype mainly for the instant messaging and the screen sharing capabilities. This allows individuals within our organization to quickly talk to each other without having to draft an email and wait for a response or call the person. This allows for individuals within the organization to multitask much easier throughout the day.
  • Very easy to screen share
  • Easy to add individuals to group chats
  • The skype meetings extremely useful within and outside of our organization
  • The video chat interaction is not ideal. The video of each person is very small.
  • Able to multitask much easier day to day
  • I work from home so I do not have the option to go and walk over to a persons desk, and Skype allows that quick interaction
  • Integrates Outlook very well with Skype meetings
Skype meetings are MUCH more streamline than WebEx Meetings. The one stop shop with skype meetings does not lag and you don't have to take time to login into WebEx and then have WebEx call and accept the meeting. The whole Skype process does not require you to have a phone with the audio either. In my experience Skype is way better than WebEx (we have had stints of using both exclusively within my organization).
Suited for Skype meetings where you can chat and share individuals screens. This tool is very useful for day to day chat sessions among co-workers.
