Overall Satisfaction with Skype for Business

We are a multinational company, so the need to connect across the globe is great. Skype allows us to hold meetings and conference calls, share screens, or just have a quick chat with coworkers in all locations.

Cons

  • Sound quality - international skype calls can be tricky
  • Lower phone bills for international calls
  • Lower travel costs thanks to telecommuting
  • Faster response time than email communication
Skype is more intuitive and easier to use than WebEx. It also has an instant messenger option which WebEx didn't offer.
Skype for Business is great for any business with an office setting where users have access to a computer. It seamlessly integrates with Outlook calendars to update user status (busy/meeting/away).
