Slack is being used by our organization to help with communication both between individuals, as well as between groups. It is being used by the entire department, and can be set up between departments to help with communication as well. The business problem it addresses is communication. Information is communicated instantly, between users helping to speed up all aspects of the organization.
- Helps the entire organization communicate
- Helps departments communicate
- Helps individuals communicate with one another
- Wish you could adjust how Slack looks - how the layout is done, colors, etc. You are given a couple of options, but nothing robust.
- Wish it was easier to clear out old messages, rather than every message you have ever sent to that area.
- The positive impact is that business is done faster since communication is done quickly. The ROI is difficult to measure because the entire organization is affected and communication is done instantly.
