Overall Satisfaction with Slack
Slack allows our company to effectively communicate internally between members of the team. Additionally we can communicate with other companies through Slack Connect. The software is robust and has functionality that allows us to set reminders, manage communication through various group threads, and integrates with many other important software in our tech stack. We haven't experienced many bugs or down time with the software. The dev team is committed to updates and making sure the software stays up and running at all times.
- I love using the remind function to have slack tell me about things that I need to remember. It can be used for exact dates and times in the future and even recurring reminders. It's definitely one of my favorite features.
- Slack allows you to "huddle" with other teammates. This is a quick voice call and is way better than trying to call someone on the phone.
- Slack's ability to integrate with many other software makes it invaluable. We can have other software send us notifications or reminders in Slack that we wouldn't have received otherwise.
- The only thing I can think of is that it is easy to create too many channels. This has more to do with the team using Slack and less to do with Slack itself. maybe some direction on Slack's part on how best to utilize channels would be helpful.

We didn't evaluate any other platforms. We decided to move forward with slack and haven't looked back.
