Overall Satisfaction with Slack

As a remote company, Slack is our central hub for communication, where we collaborate on tasks and projects as well as day to day work.

We call each other through Slack, share updates in main channels and use the group chat functionality to ensure we're all on the same page as to where we are on a day-to-day basis.

In short, Slack allows us to function as a remote company in the same way we would in an office.

Teams is Slack's older more sensible brother, but not necessarily in a good way. They function very similarly in terms of the core features, but Slack is more robust and flexible to the requirements of a remote business. Personally, I also found Slack much easier to learn and prefer it's layout.

Do you think Slack delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Slack's feature set?

Yes

Did Slack live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Slack go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Slack again?

Yes

If you are a remote company and you need an easy, structured approach to communication and collaboration, Slack will make your life easy.

The ability to separate colleagues into the channels they will find most relevant and also how quickly you can create direct messages and 'huddles' (calls) mean that you hardly notice you're not in a building with your colleagues. Top marks!
