Overall Satisfaction with Slack
All organisation use Slack and divide up the communication into channels based on departments, events, activities and other relevant topics like "how bad is my problem" to get easy and quick IT support.
We do a lot of pole voting as well, together with using the function "huddle" several times a week to communicate with colleagues

Pros
- Communicate easy with colleagues instead over email
- collect information and discussions to specific topics into specific channels
- easy to search for previous information being mentioned
- Notify me about messages in other groups I participate in
- Huddle - call colleagues and discuss face2face
- Write notes on my own channel - so smart!
Cons
- easier to search for a specific texts on historical discussions
- Add [..] integration
- Better filter option on searchbar
- Saving LOADS of time in our internal communication
- Faster sync between departments to get projects like customer onboarding implemented faster (IT + Onboarding Team = true!)
- Don't need many people working on communication department which means we save loads on money there
Slack is better in every aspect.Better functionality, easier communication functions like sub channels, search and better notifications. Also, reactions are way better.
But also that I can write in my own channel is genius! The layout is easier to understand, and also that the poling function is better! Great overall!
