Overall Satisfaction with Slack

We use slack for one on one internal communication and also for collaborative purpose. We can create a group of people. We use slack to share work updates and seek help with my colleagues, superiors. We can share texts, images, voice notes.

Pros

  • We can resolve any problem by discussing with your peers
  • We can share updates about everything quickly.
  • We can know who are available live and away.
  • We can schedule a message for future.
  • We can search the previous messages.

Cons

  • Sometimes it lags. After clicking it takes couple of seconds to respond.
  • We can share updates about any problem with our peers as well as in group.
  • We can search old messages from previous messages to refer the answers to queries.
  • We can use Slack messages as a written proof.
Overall it is very useful and unique of its kind of a tool. We can communicate and collaborate using Slack and resolve problems.
I deducted 1 point because they can improve the response speed.
I've used Microsoft Teams app but Slack is all time better than Teams with great UI and lots of features.
