Overall Satisfaction with Slack

Ease of communication, setting task reminders for everyone, and creating channels. It is a great tool for team communications and better collaboration. Customer support is beyond compare. The pricing was suitable for my organization. Additionally, I appreciate that it includes email and scheduled meetings. Also, it streamlines the sharing of files, feedback, and updates, ensuring collaborators have easy access to vital project information.

It is a great software, but it still has room for improvement. There has been a decrease in internal email volume after adopting Slack, which has resulted in faster, clearer communication and more agile team workflows. However, it has also caused notification fatigue and attention fragmentation. The volume of channels and messages sometimes makes it easy for important information to get lost.
Much better User Interface. It is much simpler, has broad third-party integrations, is flexible, and has superior channel-based messaging. It helps facilitate faster communication, is easy to set up, and has extensive automation features. For periodic, cross-functional collaboration with external vendors and clients, Slack's guest access is simpler to manage.

Creating channels and communication. Dedicated channels facilitate daily sync-ups, task assignments, and transparent project status updates, which help reduce meetings overload and email clutter. Moreover, teams can quickly swarm to resolve technical or compliance issues in shared channels, leveraging real-time chat and Slack huddles for rapid escalation and solution finding.
