Overall Satisfaction with Slack
We communicate with other departments in our organization, and with our co-workers through chat. We are part of an online gambling platform (online casino) and use Slack to communicate while working. Not only that, but we also do huddles during work hours and video calls, and use private messages a lot. We have many channels for different topics and pins.
Pros
- fun emojis and great ability to add more
- easy and lightweight huddles
- fast and trustworthy platform, without bugs
Cons
- It could be more aesthetically pleasing
- Better search field
- we could be able to see if someone has seen our message
- It is very useful for keeping track of information and messages
- Skype (discontinued)
I have used Skype, which is far worse than Slack, in terms of speed and lag. Slack is very quick with nice notification and huddle sounds. You can find all the old messages, in contrary to Skype.
