Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Slack as an instant messaging platform. We also use the huddle feature for quick and simple audio and video conferencing. Slack offers statuses, threads, and various reactions. Video conferencing offers screen sharing, hand raising, and the ability to draw on the screen for everyone in the huddle to see and participate.

Usability

Slack's usability is very good. Ensuring you have a good internet connection, the platform hardly lags or feels slow. UI elements all do what they are designed to do, and there are no unfinished pieces of software. Messaging and file sharing all feel smooth. Only huddles can sometimes drop you out without a reason.

Slack is very well-suited for larger organizations that have a lot of members, both on-site and working remotely. The ability to instantly share information and participate in video and audio conferences is great. I wouldn't recommend it for smaller teams, as the pricing can quickly become unaffordable.
