Overall Satisfaction with Slack

We use it to integrate seamlessly with so many other tools (Google Drive, Zoom, Asana, etc.), so everything lives in one place. The search function is a lifesaver when I need to pull up old files or conversations quickly. Its also a tool our team uses to motivate one another and stay connected it has been huge in building camaraderie

Pros

  • cuts down on wasted time and keeps everything + everyone aligned
  • integrates seamlessly with other tools (Google Drive, Zoom etc.), so everything lives in one place
  • direct messaging makes it easy to connect instantly without email overload.

Cons

  • threaded replies clunky and easy to miss in fast-moving conversations.
  • First-time users sometimes find Slack’s layout clunky
  • deleting channels/threads can get confusing
  • Our average turnaround time on client requests has improved significantly
  • Team morale has significantly boosted
  • Sales training has become more efficient with all of the resources shared within Slack
Makes finding info and connecting tools simple and the usability is easy to stay organized it also helps keep track of all my internal conversations where I can go back and easily locate info. Also we use Guru and can search for the answer to any internal question it saves me hours each month!

It is appropriate when working cross functionally in a professional setting everything lives in one place especially for remote and hybrid teams. Very less appropriate for large organizations with thousands of active users Channels can get noisy and overwhelming, making it harder to filter what’s important.
