Overall Satisfaction with Slack

I have used Slack in several companies where I worked and had the opportunity to implement it at the company where I am currently the Operations Coordinator: MigTech Hub. I introduced Slack as a way to improve communication across all teams and to organize the traffic, sales, operations, strategy, automations, marketing, and community departments, along with the various projects we are running. In other words, I was able to set up the teams in their respective channels and organize them by projects

Pros

  • Improvement in team communication
  • Structuring communication between teams
  • Team engagement

Cons

  • The ability to hold meetings with the entire team, with video and audio, and have them recorded
  • A dedicated calendar in Slack with access to all team members
  • A standardized visual organization of groups and teams, replicated across all employees
  • We managed to get all our employees to communicate in one single place
  • We enhanced interaction and collaboration across teams
  • Teams gained better visibility into what others and other teams were working on
I believe that nowadays no company with more than 10 employees should rely on a tool other than Slack. The level of improvement is extremely significant across various areas, such as visibility of other people and teams throughout the company, enhanced employee communication and collaboration, and increased sense of belonging and engagement
In terms of team organization, usability, and a welcoming layout, Slack stands out compared to other tools. For management, this is very useful, as we can monitor multiple teams across different projects, while also having a better overall view of what is happening in the company. Additionally, it offers strong communication tools, which fosters greater team engagement

Slack has a very welcoming layout with great and easy usability. It is simple both to implement and for employees to use. This way, we were able to centralize all our communications in one place and strengthen team communication. I believe it is the best tool on the market for communication
