Overall Satisfaction with SmartRecruiters

SmartRecruiters is currently being used by the HR Team largely as an ATS. It helps us track the candidates efficiently and ties up well with the LinkedIn solution. The solution is only used by HR team currently and that does not include other stakeholders that form a part of the organization.

Pros

  • Connects well with Linkedin
  • Integrates well with other IT solutions
  • Sending the link to managers with a profile is a useful feature.

Cons

  • The user interface is kind off difficult to manage.
  • In my opinion switching between the profiles could be made easier and more seamless. Once you are out [of them] you need to start from the beginning.
  • Pool reachout is only dependent on our market reach
Does not stack up well. . . . . . PeopleSoft is a more elaborate system and a larger implementation not only limited to recruitment but also compensation and benfits, PMS and talent management. Taleo has a much wider coverage base of the stake holders in the organisation.
It is a good basic ATS tool for an organisation which is in the early stages or first time implementation stages. However the tool needs to be more user friendly and have more features and support the recruitment life cycle more efficiently than the current state. I have seen better and more elaborate systems.

We take your feedback very seriously, and have actually made some serious improvements based on what you and some other customers have said. Smartrecruiters’ key mission is to provide all of our customers with the ultimate candidate and internal user experience. There has been many updates since your review in 2016! The Spring 2018 enhancements include some new candidate filters (you can search by status, candidate fields, or by recruiter), and we now have user management filters (you can configure and search you user base easily instead of having to scroll down until finding what you need). There are also additional data points for your report builder, you can select the appropriate interview substage, and the ability to extract the new candidate status history endpoint from the public API (which you can export on demand to a csv file). If you are no longer a customer: I know you did not have the best experience with SmartRecruiters, but I’m confident that with our product updates and improvements based on your feedback, we could really turn that around.
