I selected SmartSheet for it's Ease of use, collaboration features, ability to store discussions in tasks, ability to assign and email collaborators for updates. Downside being it is not available offline, so working on an airplane/train etc is not possible.
Offline access is needed badly. Cost for personal use is a little high for me if the company does not approve the product for usage.
I would recommend it for smaller / simpler projects that don't have too many dependencies and interlinked tasks. I found that if you remove/add dependencies or adjust dates the related tasks can get out of sync. Think it would be more suited to small companies/teams that value the collaborative features of smartsheet.
