Overall Satisfaction with SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor
Solarwinds NPM has been a great asset and tool for us keeping tracking of our network and resource performance. We use it to monitor all network components as well as several server and various other network connected systems.
- Long term trends and graphing of performance and stats
- At times setting up the systems initially it almost provided too many options making it overwhelming.
- The alerting system used to be very cumbersome to figure out how to create custom alerts and triggers. This has begun to improve with web based access to this part of the system
- Better insights to what is happening on our network.
- SolarWinds Application & Server Management, SolarWinds Log & Event Manager, SolarWinds Network Configuration Manager and Intermapper
Solarwinds NPM is significantly better than Intermapper. We haven't used Intermapper in a couple years now but it was leaps and bounds ahead of Intermapper for Network monitoring.
