SpyFu is currently being used in our plan and prepare stage of the sales cycle, specifically to analyze daily PPC budget and SEO traffic value. We utilize both the Kombat tool and the main tool to assess competition and current media spend for PPC and SEO compared to top businesses in the industry. This information allows us to determine the quality of digital advertising this company has already utilized and enables us to better position our sales presentation.

SpyFu was the only successful tool in understanding a companies current digital marketing efforts. While GA and GAP were both proficient in understanding web analytics, SpuFu is an exceptional tool in understanding their advertising. Since I use Chrome as my main search browser, I have even installed the SpyFu ad-on. This allows me to jump from a businesses website to their SpyFu report immediately. This can be found in the Google Chrome App store (and is free!).
SpyFu is extremely user friendly and provides useful information for my current job. All the info that I need is in one central location and allows me to compare companies current digital marketing efforts to other competitors in their industry. The use of graphs and charts also allow me to present the information to potential clients in a matter that they can understand and appreciate.
SpyFu is extremely useful in the advertising industry as it allows us to better prospect potential companies while understanding the media spend history in both PPC and SEO. It also is beneficial in understanding the results of their paid advertising and viewing their ad copy. SpyFu provides keword reports for both SEO and PPC. As a certified re-seller of Google's DMS products I have found the tool extremely useful in comparing companies within certain industries to determine how successful they are within the digital space.
