Overall Satisfaction with Squarespace
Squarespace provides a quick, no coding needed platform to display new information on our website. I personally use it for side-projects and portfolio pieces, exclusively used by me on the design team. It offers efficiency and focus on content, so everything can be pushed out live in a short amount of time.
Pros
- Squarespace doesn't need any coding. The features are all drag and drop inside.
- Squarespace has beautiful professional layouts that can be easily changed to different sizes.
- Squarespace is easy to use with simple hover features and droplets to get everything designed.
Cons
- Squarespace could improve on the picture handing and loading - it's clunky and slow at times.
- Squarespace could provide a beginning demo tour. The droplet feature to add content wasn't clear at first.
- The method of spacing sometimes causes glitches where content doesn't display properly.
- Better customer service by being able to have a responsive website quickly able to run.
- Increased employee efficiency letting designers focus on producing content rather than having to code and learn how to code.
