Overall Satisfaction with Stripe
As a social impact digital agency, we used Stripe for client websites, mostly medical membership organizations and charities. Previously, members would pay by bank transfer and the membership secretary would manually approve their memberships on the website. This was inefficient for the organization and caused delays for members to access the medical journal from Wiley.
- Great UI
- Easy to send an invoice
- Easy to refund transactions
- Bit small to read, but I have a 4K screen and can adjust via browser Zoom.
- More time as payment are automated.
Stipe vs PayPal: Stripe has a lower rate and a more modern interface. It integrated with the Memberpress membership plugin we use for client sites. Stripe vs Worldpay: Stripe has a much better interface and the user experience for the customer is much better. With Worldpay, they have to leave and visit another site! Stripe does the heavy lifting in the background.
