Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer

We use TeamViewer, both with our monitoring software with unattended access and independently with both the installed All-in-One and the "Instant Customer" module. I've found the program to be intuitive, with an ease of use, both on my and the end user's side, that helps when working with less tech savvy clients. TeamViewer makes a clean responsive tunnel to the client's PC, with plenty of tools, including the ability to lock the keyboard or black out the client's monitor, to remain uninterrupted when doing sensitive repairs. They allow free personal use of the fully functional product, which helps a friend or family member that needs some emergency IT help. I've used a few Remote Control and VPN software, and for ease of use, solid connection, and quick response from end to end, I always prefer to use TeamViewer.
  • Creates a quick communicating tunnel between PCs, I never worry about having my connection dropped when using TeamViewer.
  • Intuitive and useful tools, allow for full access to the client PC and the ability to lock the keyboard and mouse and black out the monitor of the client's PC. Helpful to keep the user from stopping the work being done, or from halting sensitive repairs being done.
  • Works with some remote monitoring software, and has a fully functioning free version for personal use, which was great when family members need help when I'm off duty.
  • Has both an install version that can be set up for unattended access, and the "Instant Customer" for clients who don't want to have this type of software installed on they're computers.
  • The Instant Customer could be less technical, not to say it's difficult, but some plain language may help non-savvy users to connect with help easier when they use the Instant Customer program.
  • The ease of use helps me to provide quick and simple customer service with end user clients. With the unattended access, I'm able to scan for viruses, clean hard drives and keep client's PCs functioning normally, without having to reduce their productivity by limiting their access to their computers.
I find the login process to be quicker with TeamViewer, and the actual speed of the desktop while connected to be better. There is less lag with the mouse and keystrokes with TeamViewer, and TeamViewer allows for multiple remote instances, where LogMeIn didn't.
TeamViewer is well suited for unattended access, for IT work after hours. I also like the way they tab multiple instances. Helps keep the desktop neat when working on multiple systems during long virus scans or disk cleanup.
