Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer
We deploy TeamViewer on many of our machines so that we can remotely access them if the need arises. This proves vital when trying to provide support to team members on the road. We also use it to access server equipment without us having to physically enter the server rooms.
- If I need to administer support on a traveling companion's PC, I can simply have them download TeamViewer and send me their credentials. This has proven reliable. We don't use it often, but when we need it we're thrilled it's there!
- Our server rooms are tight and run uncomfortably warm. I can use teamviewer to access systems in the server room without having to physically enter the room. Incredibly convenient.
- I maintain a license separately from my company, which I primarily use for home jobs but occasionally find it helpful for work tasks. I'd love to roll out TeamViewer to all our employees, but this is costly and it wouldn't see enough use to justify the cost.
- TeamViewer saves me time when I utilize it, but this is rare. I imagine the cost savings is negligible. It's certainly a convenience, however.
Our dedicated IT company uses their own proprietary system, but they also use TeamViewer for reaching out to personal PCs not otherwise covered on our account.
