Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer

We use TeamViewer to connect to our computers located at the office from any place in the world and work on our office computers when that's necessary.

Pros

  • You can connect remotely to computers from whatever place, you only need an internet connection
  • TeamViewer is awesome, it even allows the use of common hotkeys like ctrl+c ctrl+v
  • You can block your computer and unblock exactly as you do on site
  • The ability to transfer files from/to the host is awesome
  • It allows us to switch the control between the host and the computer which it is accessing remotely

Cons

  • I'd like to see it integrated with some programming IDEs like IntelliJ so to allow pair programming
  • It gives the freedom to use any kind of operating system without restrictions
  • It's really easy to use
  • It allows us to not waste time commuting when that's not necessary
I prefer TeamViewer because it's more popular and almost every person is currently using it
TeamViewer is awesome when you need to connect to a machine located in a remote place. The good news is that you can link any computer as part of your account and if the computer is not linked, you can access it by using the partnerID and password.

One of the things that I love is that I can use it with any operating system; we are currently using it with Windows, Linux and MacOS computers.
