Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer

TeamViewer is a great remote access tool. I have not found anything that I do not like about it yet. We use it for technical support. TeamViewer allows us to access user's computers to assist them when they are having issues. This can run from a simple settings change to a serious program or OS problem.
  • Allow reboot and reconnect seamlessly.
  • Allow for unattended access setup.
  • Handles multiple monitors easily.
  • Price can get expensive.
  • Licensing structure is rigid.
  • After trying this out it was deemed too expensive for us.
Citrix ShareConnect is a close second to Teamviewer. All the same functionality and less cost. We use this software every day and it has been great. We already use ShareFile so this just fit right in with the same look and feel. Also, billing was able to be combined since it is from the same company.
Best suited for mid to large size companies who have a team of support techs that need to assist users remotely. Also good for servers. The price and licensing concerns do not make this a good option for just one person or a small company concerned about the bottom line in my opinion.
