I have used the free version of TeamViewer previously in my organization to access the project system remotely to troubleshoot the operating system and application. It was easy to deploy in laptop , mostly deployed in windows machine to take control of system. It was securely connecting and able to control the end systems smoothly.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

TeamViewer is a house hold name for remote control tool for a good reason. Internally we used this tool for remote support for any application or server issue. it's reliable, powerful and consistent tool for remotely accessing system. My experience with TeamViewer overall is good, I am able to connect with other it system smoothly using TeamViewer for remote support.

Pros

High quality screen sharing session
Two factor authentication plus encryption
Secure data over insecure network

Cons

Backward compatibility should be included
Auto update of TeamViewer needs to be included

Return on Investment

Less time to take control of system remotely
Sometimes bugs in latest release will impact to end users

I have used the free version of TeamViewer hence no comment on this

I haven't explored much on single sign-on , two factor authentication.

Likelihood to Recommend

Easy use to make remote connection to end systems and well suited for remote support engineer. It's great remote support application which is revolutionized the way people do it. It's very easy to deploy in windows or Mac machine and comes with variety of remote control options for users to consume for remote support.
