Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We reviewed several project management tools prior to committing to Teamwork. We often describe it as "Basecamp on steroids." Very impressed and easy to use.

Pros and Cons

Great file management -- integrates with Google Drive.
Great calendar management.
Perfect task and calendar reliances. When you update one date or task, the others change in relation.

Looking forward to understanding more about the CRM.
I have not used the integrations from my proposal software, but that might be one area that we can improve.
Would like to see a way to turn off some features that we don't use.

Return on Investment

Very positive ROI. We have become much more efficient and process oriented.
Our team is able to better track and manage projects
We can pull out many details on archived projects from years ago.

Usability

Very simple to use. We have new team members take to it very quickly. There is a very small learning curve and it is very intuitive.

Support Rating

The support is excellent. However, the company is based out of Ireland, so some of the support agents are not in the same time zone as here in America.

Alternatives Considered

Basecamp, Zoho Projects, Trello, Smartsheet and ProWorkflow

We have tried a lot of different tools, but settled on the robust solution that Teamwork Projects provided. The others just seemed to lack in what we needed.

Other Software Used

Proposify, FreshBooks, Formstack

Likelihood to Recommend

Teamwork is very well suited for a remote team and managing a creative department. Not sure where it may not work as well.
