Overall Satisfaction with Text-Em-All

Our church uses Text-Em-All to send out announcements and prayer requests. It solves the problem of reaching all our members easily and quickly. In case of bad weather, we can send out an announcement to alert members of closings or delays of our services. Sometimes there's an urgent need by one member and we can send out a request for help to other members.

Pros

  • It's fast.
  • Website is easy to use.
  • It's reliable.

Cons

  • Would like to see the option for longer text messages on the current program we use without having to change to a different plan.
  • Ability to delay an announcement to go out at a specific time.
  • Billing in a way that we can send a check instead of having to use a credit card.
  • More than half our members use the text/calling option. They love this because it gets to them quicker than the emails.
  • Many of the members respond to the Text-Em-All number via text. That way I get quicker responses.

Our church once had an activity planned where everyone was to meet at a certain location before the event started. But at the last minute, there needed to be a change of meetup location because of street closures. The person in charge of the meetup contacted me with a new location and I was able to send it out immediately. Everyone received the message and they were all able to change their routes to meet at the new spot.
