Overall Satisfaction with ThoughtSpot

It speeds up the answers people need to make decisions. It will no longer be asking month old questions any more.
We resell ThoughtSpot, however we just started the journey and prepare our clients for their first implementation.

Pros

  • Possibility to explore how data are calculated brings the trust.
  • So easy to use, no need to train the business users. I am actually waiting for the mobile app, which I think will be the game changer.
  • So simple to support the system. Updates are done within hours and there is no need to do any outage.

Cons

  • Some users are used to work with pixel perfect dashboards. Would be nice to be able to create such a dashboard for them.
  • Could be operated by smaller team, no need to train people, so big savings. There is no need for report developers
ThoughtSpot is basically self-service BI that works! It is less appropriate for the static reporting or pixel perfect dashboards. The thing is, that I still think that it is great tool to change the behavior of managers in the future.
