Overall Satisfaction with Tidal Automation
Design, develop, and administrate Tidal Automation jobs for company internal applications to perform day to day automated tasks. Such as moving files across multiple platforms, calling scripts for data processing, executing ETL processes for data inputs/extracts, and etc. Our production environment executes 10k+ jobs daily.
- Scheduled automation, hourly/daily/weekly/monthly.
- Event driven jobs, especially file events. We have applications entirely based on file arrival.
- Across platforms; jobs are kicked off sequentially between multiple environments, Windows and Linux systems.
- Would like to see Linux agents work with OpenJDK14, right now it woks with OpenJDK11.
- Improved DR solution, as of now the DR has to be cold standby.
- Improved Java Client for version 6.5.5 work with OpenJDK.
- It helped our colleges from manual work.
- Multiple application teams now have a centralized UI to automate and monitor their tasks.
The UI is much easier to navigate and easier to understand. Ability to cross multiple platforms.
