Overall Satisfaction with Tipalti

Tipalti is our AP platform for invoicing and payments. Tipalti's AP platform has enabled us to match the business needs and scale finance to match the hyper-growth that we experienced. Incredible intuitive and an easy UI, reviewing and making edits via Tipalti are effortless and agile. Tipalti has many benefits, one of my favorites is the vendor onboarding experience. All information is sent to the vendors, and they input their own information into the platform. If there are any issues, then the onus is on the vendor to complete their information for payment. Streamlining this process enables the internal AP department to focus more on payments vs. inputting information which has been extremely beneficial. Tipalti is a great platform and business partner and excited to see how their growth will enable our own.

Coupled with my two other reviews, Tipalti has enabled our organization to scale our finance department to match the needs of the business. By providing effortless vendor onboarding, execution of global payments, and a streamlined reconciliation process Tipalti has enabled us to expand resources in other critical areas vs. applying those same resources to the AP process.
We have saved money due to the need for fewer staff members on the AP side of the business. Where you typically need 5-10 AP dedicated personnel, we are able to have one full-time AP clerk and have various other team members pitch in and help with the processes and hygiene of vendors in Tipalti.
I've previously used an SAP platform for AP functionality. SAP has great reports that can be downloaded, but the function in the application can be very bulky and slow or in short a bad UI. Tipalti has an incredible UI that enables the users to make all edits right in the platform instead of taking analysis offline to an excel file.

Tipalti is well suited for companies that are scaling their finance department and implementing a new ERP, such as NetSuite. The jump from Quickbooks to NetSuite is a pivotal time during a young company's growth, Tipalti can and will ease the process and enable resources to be spent in more important areas versus applying hours figuring out a complicated AP process. With that, I don't believe Tipalti is suited for a company that is in the very early seed stage and only has a few vendors. Tipalti is a great partner to help the scalability of finance, so if you're not ready, then I believe you do not need Tipalti at that time.
