Overall Satisfaction with Tipalti

We use Tipalti as a invoice processing system to support our major accounting system Netsuite. We upload invoice from our vendors, and use Tipalti for our bank approver to approve those invoices. Tipalti works well now, and we probably use it as payment system in the future.

Pros

  • Do the PO matching for invoice
  • sync failure system to double check any mistakes
  • Submit for approvers to approve

Cons

  • sync failure. Tipalti need provide a guidance to fix those sync failure issues
  • need to improve the speed of scan and syncing invoice to NS
  • Improve supplier portal guidance. some of our vendor finds it's hard to register
  • positive impact on vendor onboard
  • positive on electoric files storage
  • positive for our management to approve invoice
  • positive for identify duplicate
The payment system is not so great right now. On the other hand, I don't think Tipalti is good for us to take care of customers in Asia, Middle East or Europe. It's only good for Customer in North American right now.

1. Tipalti have a very good duplicate detect system which help us identified duplicate invoice.
2. Tipalti can memorized expense account, Currency type which save more time for us, and it also reduce the chance for us to make mistakes.

1. Tipalti is good for company have business within both Canada and US.
2. Tipalti is good for company need to do po matching. especially for food corp like us.
3. Tipalti is one-way sync system, so changing NS number won't affect it.
