Overall Satisfaction with Tipalti

We use Tipalti to process and pay invoices from multiple of our entities around the world. Tipalti helps us by syncing payments with our account software, creating a self-explanatory onboarding process for our vendors, creating an any easy way for our bill approvers to approve invoices, and helping us automate our processes to save us time from issuing individual wire transfers.

Pros

  • Tipalti provides us with a team of Tipalti employees that is super responsive and always willing to help/answer questions.
  • Tipalti sends clear remittance emails to vendors when payments are sent.
  • Tipalti allows us to make multiples payments at once.

Cons

  • It would be beneficial if we could somehow absorb all fx fees when some payments are made.
  • It would be beneficial if Tipalti could automatically know the bill approver flow by department.
  • Time saved in vendor onboarding.
  • Time saved in reaching out to individuals for approvals.
  • Time saved in issuing individual payments.
Tipalti's usability is 10/10. It creates an easy to learn automated process for both AP and global partner payments workflows. It allows you to easily make payments all over the world.
All of the above. I think Tipalti definitely saves time on accounting tasks which allows us to save money due to the need for fewer staff members, and only one person focused on accounts payable. This allows the accounting team to focus on more strategic initiatives and accounting tasks. The approval workflows saves time as Tipalti sends automated approval reminders as well.

Tipalti is well suited for companies who are looking to automate their payment and vendor onboarding processes to save time. It is well suited for companies with multiple entities/accounts that they make payments from. It is user friendly. Tipalti is less appropriate for payments being made in currencies outside of the currency that the invoice is in.
