Overall Satisfaction with Toast Point of Sale
The Toast Point of Sale is able to provide better data analysis of sales, ticket times, employee metrics etc. The breadth of data analysis has been the most impactful of addressing business problems by how we catalog inventory, adjust SOP's and set our standards of service. Another useful aspect would be the storing of data even when disconnected from the internet. We use the Toast POS to input orders and course out items to meet our brand experience and expectations. One really useful aspect of the Toast handheld is the integration of apple/samsung pay which provides convenience to our employees and guests alike.

- Data analysis of inventory worth as it correlates to sales
- Wireless tap pay!
- Technical aspects i.e. changes/customization can not be done for individual stores and is only applicable to the entire company
- Hardware easily breaks and/or malfunctions
- Software bugs that end up being a system wide issue not only isolated to our location and store.
- Accessibility of the user interface
- Card reader for the magnet swipe has continuous issues
- Negative ROI due to the unreliability of the software
- Negative ROI due to the quality of the hardware
Toast POS vs. Aloha. Aloha data metrics were not as complete and comprehensive as Toast. Toast Software and hardware are more unreliable and not as durable as the Aloha POS system.
