Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are using Trello as a project management and workflow tool between multiple teams in our marketing department. Trello solves a few issues that we had having to do with visibility to all of the work our teams were doing and how to prioritize various tasks

Alternatives Considered

Microsoft Teams

We selected Trello as it was easy to setup...only a few minutes. We looked at MS Planner as part of our Teams integration but that did not have nearly enough labels for our purposes.

Trello is fantastic to use with small teams with simple task workflows. As teams grow or you try to merge workflows between teams Trello becomes much harder manage. We use Trello for task management for our team. Assigning tasks takes only a moment and moving cards is just a click and drag. There are more plugins to Trello than I can mention here and some of them are fantastic.
