Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use it in my sales operations role to help myself stay on top of projects, notes, meeting agendas, and reminders. I've provided access my personal Trello board to individuals with whom I collaborate with on projects so that they have insight into my day-to-day and can better understand where their project is in the pipeline.

Pros and Cons

Easy to use and navigate; drag and drop features are very helpful
Allows for easy collaboration
Makes keeping track of projects completed easy (very helpful for mid-year and year end reviews)

While it's easy to move things around, the general structure is rigid - projects are contained in columns which can make more complex projects more difficult to visualize

It can also be effectively used for project management depending on the type of visualization you need to get insight into the project's status. It does allow for checklists to be created, which makes simple projects easy to manage with Trello.
