Overall Satisfaction with Cision Communications Cloud

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Cision Communications Cloud (TrendKite)* as a media monitoring tool for most, if not all of our client accounts. It provides us with valuable information to show the value of our PR efforts.

*This review was written before Cision acquired TrendKite. TrendKite is now part of Cision Communications Cloud.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Customer service. Sandhya and her team are simply amazing. They are truly the reason we think so well of the product.

Cons

I would love to see the dev team continue to understand what we are using the searches for in able to help us continue to develop ways to "weed out" unwanted/irrelevant mentions. The bells and whistles and reports are great, but they are only as good as that initial search.

Alternatives Considered

We use Meltwater. The new platform is really nice and a lot of new people prefer using it, but my preference is always with Cision because of the customer service I get.

Support Rating

I would rate support 11 if I could, but I can't. Sandhya and Miles rule. Working with Brent is always fun. They guys should all get big raises for awesomeness.

Using Cision Communications Cloud

Usability

I think it is a fairly intuitive tool if you know beforehand what it does. A lot of people that I train Cision on are new to not only INK, but to PR as well. I imagine this is pretty standard as much of the measurement heft is really done by the account coordinator, assistant account executive level. It would serve my people well if Cision could help me frame a bit in trainings about what "big picture" objectives the tool serves.
