Overall Satisfaction with Cision Communications Cloud

Cision Communications Cloud (TrendKite)* is used by the entire organization to monitor traditional and online media to maintain ensure public information is accurately disseminated and that brand is properly represented.

Pros

  • Tracking and alerting media output that might reflect on brand
  • Flexible output for reports to leadership
  • Easy to use tracking and reporting
  • Easy to customize output for my own use
  • Easy to share reports, searches and other information with communicators across the country

Cons

  • The campaign feature helps me organize media hits and that allows me to provide more accurate targeting.
  • For some reason the Newsletter feature is hidden under the Alert category but, knowing that I use it weekly to inform leadership about our media interactions
  • The search feature required a significant amount of effort to learn. Developing a plain language search method or employing AI might make it easier to use.
I like the flexibility of Cision Communications Cloud, especially the reporting capability and the ability to display data in a variety of ways.
Tracking media output is critical for brand management. During disasters I use Cision Communications Cloud for real time alerts. Likewise, Cision Communications Cloud makes my life easier when it comes to tracking specific campaigns or when creating quarterly reports. Most importantly, when a negative comment is made I can respond quickly and confidently based on information I get from Cision.

Transition from TrendKite to Cision Communications Cloud

I have reached out to get help during large scale disasters when time is critical. In every case the response has been fast and on target. When I deployed to a location that had not set up their Cision system I was able to quickly develop searches and outputs that brought the site up to speed quickly because the support was there from Cision (TrendKite)*. I use the chat capability to get real time support when searches are not working properly. Cision teams are always friendly and effective.
