Overall Satisfaction with TriNet
TriNet is used as our outsourced HR and benefits function. We are a small organization so outsourcing payroll, vacation tracking, certain HR duties, etc., makes very good sense for us and is the most efficient option.
Pros
- Our rep, Jesy Torres, is great. Very responsive and always willing to jump in the platform to walk me through various transactions. Very diligent and courteous at all times, and very knowledgeable.
- TriNet's ability to offer/manage health benefits is critical as we are a small organization that doesn't have the bandwidth to do this. The offerings seem very comprehensive. Recently a TriNet rep spend an hour on the phone with one of my staff to help her pick the right plan.
- The payroll processing is accurate and timely.
Cons
- The PTO has to be manually moved onto the timesheets. I feel that this should be automatic once the PTO is approved.
- Once I get an "approve PTO" email request, I have to sign in to approve. I wish this could be streamlined.
- Certain features on the platform are not intuitive or break down. For example, recently one of my employees simply disappeared off the org chart and I had to re"claim" her, which took time and some back and forth with TriNet reps.
- Positive impact by removing HR function burden
- Positive impact via turn-key benefits solutions, esp health insurance
- Staff seem happy with onboarding process
TriNet is much more technologically advanced and user friendly than our former PEO, plus TriNet offers health benefits.
