Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

All TriNet staff I have spoken with have been friendly, knowledgeable, professional and helpful.
The new website is not intuitive to navigate and some information is hard to find, but overall it's ok.
We are an Australian based company that use TriNet to manage payroll for our employees across North America.

Pros

  • Communication is excellent - TriNet is both proactive in providing information and highly responsive in answering queries.
  • Processes run smoothly - The payroll schedule and requirements are clear and run on time.
  • Basic reporting is accessible and easy to use.

Cons

  • Custom reports are difficult to build and documentation to use this facility is hard to follow - luckily most reporting requirements are already set up.
  • Response times from other parts of TriNet (other than our direct HR & Payroll contacts) can be very slow.
  • Improved compliance with state tax and employment filings.
  • Improved payroll accuracy.
  • Reduced time spent on calculating payrolls.
TrINet is excellent if you want someone else to take care of your payroll, especially where your company may not have specialist knowledge of US payroll legislation. TriNet provides a reasonably cost-effective solution.
