Overall Satisfaction with TrustRadius for Buyers

Microsoft Project and Smartsheet were the two programs that I considered. In this case, access to Project was separate from Microsoft 365 therefore it did not provide any advantage over Smartsheet. We have 365 for all of our users and I thought Project would just be included....but no. So Smartsheet became an easier solution.
We recently purchased Smartsheet. There are 4 Project Managers that require a construction schedule worksheet. I determined through several weeks of research that Smartsheet was a better product than Project. We tried the trial revision of both for a few weeks and we felt that it was easier to access Smartsheet. Using TrustRadius allows us to read comments from users and make a determination of which we want to trial.
  • Good reference.
  • Experiences are shared.
  • User's opinions and comments help in the decision making.
  • I would like to see it more visible...when you search online it should pop up more.
  • I do like how many reviews are posted.
  • TrustRadius
  • SoftwareAdvice
  • Other
When you type in Software review in Google TrustRadius is not the first item that pops up. In fact, it's not the second or the third....and it did not appear on the first page. However, the reviews were better than others. Their exposure however is not good enough. If it wasn't for my reviews I would have never heard of TrustRadius.
I did not use them.
Product reviews are more important. If the product does not have a lot of reviews, something is missing. Lots of reviews mean that there is enough data to throw out the highs and lows and focus on the reviews that give meaningful information. Similar to picking a restaurant. Yes, the overall rating is important but how many is that based on?
TrustRadius is excellent at posting opinions and experiences. I for one use them as tools to make decisions on software purchases. I think they fall short at this time on internet search exposure. It's not the first thing that you see... possibly because it's new? Maybe we need to give it more time to accumulate more reviews?
