  • Splunk Application Performance Monitoring (APM)
LogDNA, ElasticStack, Fluent, Sumo Logic, and Loggy are some of the recommended alternatives compared and considered for the purchase. Their features, pros, and cons are considered as well as the time to implement and the skillsets needed to implement and operate the solutions for the teams and keep the system updated. Costs are the final factor.
This is for testing and evaluation of open-source logging solutions before the renewal of an existing contract and tool. The recommendation also came from subject matter experts to test out their recommendations and how they would fit into the needs of the project and familiar with operating and using the tools to be implemented.
