We use TrustRadius to drive reviews for 2 of our main solutions. It is used by our customer marketing department to determine leads for customer stories, references, and candidates for other marketing activities. It has been a very advantageous partnership and we have gained a lot of insight into our customers' pain points to address as well as the features that they find valuable within our solutions.
  • TrustRadius has been a great partner for us at Blackbaud and have been very attentive throughout the entire process. They have regular calls with our team and are always available to answer any questions that we have.
  • We really love that due to the licensing included in our agreement, we are able to use quotes from the reviews in our marketing materials. This has been great for us, especially since the voice of the customer is one of our most successful marketing lead drivers.
  • The filters are also great within the vendor portal. We have different verticals that we sell our products to (i.e. K-12, Higher Ed, Healthcare, etc...) so it is nice to be able to filter the reviews this way. Our sales reps have determined that it is important for prospects within a certain vertical, such as a school, to be able to see a review from another school.
  • Tagging the quotes within the reviews is a bit of a manual and time consuming process, but it is beneficial to do. I wish that we could set keywords and have those be tagged automatically.
  • More filters would be great, we have a lot of prospects that like to see reviews from people in their specific city or state.
  • Increase brand awareness

I do not have exact quantifiable statistics, but I can say that TrustRadius has impacted our company very positively. We have gathered a lot of great customers for acts of advocacy, such as participating in a case study, spotlight, reference call, or even hosting a webinar. It has also been beneficial for sales, because they can drive prospects to these reviews and send them specific reviews that are relevant to that product's industry.
I was not a part of the decision making process, I came on-board soon after we made the decision to partner with TrustRadius. However, I do know that we have been very happy with the partnership and plan to continue it.
We have gathered some really great and high quality content from TrustRadius. The reviews are very in-depth and provide us with great quotes, ROI statistics, and even feedback that we can use to better develop our products.
I don't think that we have tracked this for KPIs or goals, but I can say that it has benefitted our business from a high level. Additionally, we created a "TrustReport" from our partnership with TrustRadius and it has been a great third party validation study. Sales, marketing, and our brand team have all benefitted from this partnership!
TrustRadius is well suited for tech companies like ours that have power users that can really speak in-depth about the product or products. It would probably be best suited for companies that did not have a lot of product offerings. We have a lot of different products, so we are not able to have a licensing agreement for all of them, only our biggest and most popular.
