We started using TrustRadius last year mainly to get quality reviews for our products. We later got to know more about the in-depth value TrustRadius has to offer other than just getting the quality reviews for your product. Today, we are syndicating review widgets on multiple site and marketing pages, and so far it has helped our bottom line.

TrustRadius has helped us in creating more awareness for our products, getting quality reviews, increasing landing page conversion and identifying ideal candidates for our user-research and case studies.

As you've noted, TrustRadius is not well-suited to help with paid lead gen. We've intentionally chosen not to take the path that the competitors you mention have pursued to offer paid placement, paid visibility, and paid lead programs.
