Overall Satisfaction with TrustRadius for Vendors

  • TrustQuotes Library
  • TrustQuotes for Web
  • TrustProfile (Premium Profile)
We use TrustRadius to build Episerver's online visibility to reach prospects during the software consideration stage. This is a supplement to our own customer case studies and also adds credibility since TrustRadius is an unbiased third party. Currently we use TrustQuotes for marketing purposes on our high conversion web pages. Our goal is to use reviews for sales enablement and in email marketing.
  • I like that the reviews are verified, lending credibility to the ratings and reviews.
  • The TrustQuotes are useful for curating and displaying relevant information from reviews rather than needing to use the whole review.
  • Using TrustRadius to manage review acquisition allows us to focus on marketing our product.
  • We struggle with getting customer reviews and getting a critical mass of reviews.
  • There is a learning curve with setting up TrustQuotes and despite the extensive and detailed onboarding by the TrustRadius team, the TrustQuotes UX/UI is could be easier.
  • The price is high and because we haven't been able to reach our max review number, it is challenging to determine ROI.
  • Increase brand awareness
  • Manage brand reputation
  • Scale customer proof through reviews
  • Third-party validation of marketing claims
  • Increase landing page conversion
  • Create sales enablement content
It's difficult to determine how TrustRadius has helped optimize our marketing efforts and increase sales. Outcomes of putting TrustQuotes on conversion pages has been inconclusive and have not seemed to contribute to or detract from web conversions. So far, our justification for engagement with TrustRadius is around branding, awareness, and increasing visibility during the software purchasing consideration stage.
We use G2 Crowd, which focuses on lead generation and driving traffic through SEO. G2 Crowd is better positioned to attract prospects evaluating software while doing search since, G2 Crowd usually ranks very high on search engine results pages. This drives more visibility for software brands and can directly generate leads. TrustRadius does a better job giving software vendors the tools to use the reviews and the voice of the customers for marketing and sales enablement.
The quality of the reviews from TrustRadius has been very high. We have been able to extract relevant information to use on our website as well as categorize quotes from reviews based on custom questions. This allows us to highlight our competitive advantage and differentiators to de-position our competition. I am uncertain of the measurable impact, though I am satisfied with the quality of the reviews and quotes.
In the six months we've used TrustRadius premium services we have not been able to see any measurable impact, if there is any impact at all. Once we get more reviews and reach a critical mass of reviews, we hope to be able to use the content more actively and effectively.
TrustRadius is disrupting the business-to-business software purchasing space, and though it's not the definitive website or resource for providing solid b2b software insight and information, it is gaining in importance. The best situation is for medium software companies who sell direct and have direct access to, and continuous active contact with customers.
